I’m selling my Macbook Air because I want to upgrade to the latest. Please look up MacBook Air 2010 for the details of this machine. It works perfectly and is in great condition. Solid State drive is Awesome! It has 250GB hard drive capacity. I don’t know what else I can say except I wouldn’t be selling it if I wasn’t wanting the latest one. I am from Australia. Contact me before it gets sold! Location: Bangkok (lumpini) it’s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Then ,you finally find some cheap used laptop prices, between $200 and $400, or an ad for laptops in the UK less than 100 pounds. Sounds a lot better on the face of it, but I just did some Internet shopping and lets see what I came up with. The “Special” on one of the Internet’s top sites was a 650 MHz HP notebook Pentium III with Windows 98. They were selling it for $329 before shipping and handling. That’s eight year old technology! No wireless, an 18 GB hard drive (cheap new notebooks ship with 60 GB hard drives, three times the capacity), and while I like Windows 98, Windows XP is required for all manner of new software.

Don’t get frustrated if everything isn’t perfect right from the start. Remember that people have problems with their brand new computers pretty often as well. Even if you have to fork up some money for small repairs or upgrades, rest assured that your decision was environmentally and economically sound.

The minimum remaining warranty you want on any laptop is 30 days. That’s all you need to find out whether or not anything is busted. Remember, all original equipment is covered. This includes the optical drive, keyboard, trackpad – all of it.
If you buy a Dell, I can say from personal experience that customer service never gives any grief when there’s a hardware fault with an Inspiron or Latitude. Furthermore Dell always eats the shipping cost. They are one of the few computer manufacturers that do.
