Ive got a Iphone 4 it’s a 16gb that I would like to sell or trade, I just picked up a new Droid this week at the Mall and prefer it over the Iphone, the Iphone has a soft case, the origanal box, etc. The phone has been used, but has no scratches flaws. Still looks brand new. So just send me an offer and I will get back to you. Please email me if interested, my english is not that great though. The phone was purchased in the States but I just finished my studies there and moved back to Thailand so if you would like to take a look at the phone it would have to be on the weekend only as Ive just started work and only free on Saturday’s and Sundays. Tip #4: Verify FCC Compliancy of Used iPhones Since the year 2005
The Federal Communication Commission has implemented a regulation whereby all mobile phone devices must be GPS enabled. The reason for such a regulation is simple; when an emergency arises and the cell phone user dials 911 assistance, if the device is GPS enabled the individual placing the emergency call can be located. If, by chance, a consumer gets a used iPhone that is not GPS enabled, then the item will not work. Therefore, it is best if the consumer questions whether or not the used iPhone in question is FCC complaint and GPS enabled before paying for the device.
If an iPhone is considered locked, this limits the carrier that the buyer of the refurbished iPhone can work with. It is important when one buys a refurbished iPhone that he or she is fully aware if it has a locked status. A locked AT&T iPhone will not work with T-Mobile, even though it is on the GSM network.
The next time you’re in Kuala Lumpur, check out the Petronas Towers. On the way home, don’t miss the airport’s ticket kiosks. You’ll find that they’re powered by iPads. Malaysia Airlines has stuffed iPads running their app MHmobile into 9 self-checkout kiosks. As you see in the video above, using the app is just as easy as you’d expect and a whole lot less ugly than some kiosk software I’ve seen.
I’ve never been an IT manager at an airport, but I’d imagine that setting one of these things up would cost less than other methods. Plus, updates are simple: just download a new version of the app.
Of course, you can get that re-create that airport excitement whenever you want by downloading the app yourself. Minus the overpriced food, crying babies and stale air, of course.
