Senior Software Engineer (VB.NET, C#, JavaScript)

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and enhance solutions required for the manufacturing
Design custom applications using various development platform to support factory
Assume responsibility for defining and delivering highly complex scalable solutions
Provide problem-solving solutions including complex and time-sensitive problems where erroneous results could have a significant impact on daily operations and product shipments
Interface directly with product manufacturing, understand business processes to build or extend solutions
Responsibility includes innovation, improvement idea and taking proactive measures in improving overall efficiency
Familiar with documentation, code/design reviews, change management to ensure the delivery of quality solutions
Propose, establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for design and development
Responsibility includes delivering application development/support/enhancements to high-quality standards with onshore as well as offshore development team
Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods, and new technologies
Offer support to other team members and be a mentor

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
Experience in building software solutions to support manufacturing is a plus
3years experience using SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access databases, VB6, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, PL/SQL, ASP.NET or Angular JS..
Experience in business analysis, prioritization as well as coordination
Ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential
Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt in a fast paced environment
Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly is critical
Ability to communicate fluently in English
